Plans & Flows

Automate recurring contract work

In the "Plans & Flows" section, you set up tasks that the Legal Agent carries out on its own and on a recurring basis, without anyone having to start a conversation. We call each of these entries a plan.

What it's for

Recurring contract work that you would otherwise have to kick off manually each time, for example:

  • a weekly report on upcoming notice periods and renewals,

  • a monthly overview of open risks in a specific folder,

  • every newly uploaded supplier contract is automatically reviewed against a specific playbook,

  • a summary of changes is automatically created whenever a new contract version is added.

Two types of triggers

Every plan has a trigger that determines when it runs:

  1. On a schedule: daily, weekly (on a specific day of the week), monthly, quarterly or yearly, each at a fixed time in a specific time zone. Unless specified otherwise, Europe/Zurich applies.

  2. On a contract event: when a contract is uploaded, receives a new version or changes its status.

How a run works

  • A new agent run per trigger. It has no knowledge of previous conversations, so the instructions must be complete and self-explanatory.

  • References are linked directly. Contracts, playbooks and folders aren't just described but attached directly. They are reloaded on every run, using your current access rights.

  • Each run writes its result to a separate conversation. If you like, a document or report can also be created. Plans that create a report also appear on the Reports page.

  • Who gets notified: always you. You can also add colleagues from the workspace, who will then get access to the result. A report can also be sent as a PDF by email.

  • Costs: Every run uses workspace credits. That's why you confirm each new plan via a summary card before it becomes active.

What you can do there

  • Create, pause and reactivate plans

  • View the history: when a plan ran and whether it actually delivered what it was supposed to. "Successful" doesn't always mean that, for example, the report was actually created.

  • Run a scheduled plan immediately as an extra run, for example to repeat a failed run. This isn't possible for event-based plans; they only run again at the next event.

Set up a plan in chat

Just tell the Legal Agent what should happen and when. It will set up the plan, and you confirm it.
