Insights (General)

Description and purpose of the "Insights" feature

The Insights section is the analytics and reporting area of your workspace.

It consolidates the data from your contracts, reviews, and playbooks into aggregated metrics and charts – so it's not about looking at a single contract, but rather taking a bird's-eye view of your entire contract portfolio.

What Insights shows you:

  • Volume & Activity: how many contracts were uploaded, reviewed, and completed – over time

  • Review results at a glance: how your contracts perform against the playbooks, where open findings tend to cluster

  • Risk distribution: share of contracts or findings by risk level (High/Medium/Low)

  • Playbook usage: which playbooks are applied how often and with what outcome

  • Team & process metrics: turnaround times, workload, and open tasks across the portfolio

What you use Insights for:
Insights answers questions that go beyond a single contract – e.g., "Where are risks accumulating across our portfolio?", "How many contracts have we reviewed this quarter?", or "Which playbook most often leads to open findings?". It's designed primarily for team-level steering and reporting, rather than day-to-day case-by-case review.

Important distinction: Insights is a pure reporting view – you don't change anything about contracts there. To review, correct, or negotiate, you still work directly in the respective document.
