When you see the Legartis button within your Microsoft Word toolbar but it looks grayed out and you are not able to click it, there are two possible reasons why Microsoft Word would not allow you to run the Legartis add-in on your document:
Your document is in .doc format. Legartis does not support this old format.
Troubleshooting: Convert the document into .docx format.Your document is locked.
Troubleshooting: remove the protection.
